honestly, i just recently found out my niece is taking seizure medicine that has a black box label, cannabis has been shown to help people who has seizures without all those risk associated with black label seizure medicine. i would prefer cannabis to be legal in her state because high cbd strains are still beneficial to a lot of people suffering. here is a video of a guy suffering from tremors due to Parkinson's disease. he is given medical cannabis and the results are highly visible. I got moved across the United States by my company to a state that is close to Colorado. I have had several visits to Colorado, mostly for hiking trips, concerts, or events, but never directly to stop by and indulge in recreational marijuana. Not to say it certainly doesn't not happen. Every visit I do take advantage of it. It has certainly been brought up in my state multiple times. Marijuana for medical purposes is perfectly fine, but the state refuses to make recreational marijuana legal because it feels it must coincide with the views of the federal government, and feel it would be too much of a hassle to deal with government. I honestly wish they would make it legal for everyone. I can imagine how much money in taxes would be produced. My state has its own tax problems and even though they are practically begging for money, they still refused to do anything about it. Can't feel sorry for them... I mean, they'll get their taxes one way or another, but if they are struggling that bad, raising taxes really isn't going to help their cause. Personally, I probably would never even qualify for medicinal marijuana. But it has two uses for me: it calms me down and helps me relax because I have a hyperactive imagination and brain that never stops, so at least during this time, it just takes my mind away and helps me to sleep. It also makes me super productive and focused. Both depend on the amount, but I have a very hard time focusing, even at work. It takes me at least 10-20 minu

> I don't think that report says what you think it says. The report also speaks to personal, social and populational damage. > I'm also unfamiliar with the dose of SSRIs that would send you into a coma Its not the SSRI itself, but rather anything that messes with your reuptake can put you into some deep problems. And of course the bog-standard grapefruit+medicine interaction. > I'm also saying they should not be your first resort. My point was that if we are talking drugs, yes, treatment with psilocybin should definitely be higher up the list than SSRIs. SSRIs would most likely be for life, daily. Psilocybin could be bi-annually or perhaps even as spot treatment only. > So there's no need for your rude presumption that I find it generally unsafe. Apologies for coming off too strong. I just feel that, reasonable as it is, the “let’s all just take a minute” attitude gives too much ammunition to conservative hoohas to stymie these alternate treatments for another few decades. Imagine if marijuana had been more accessible to people like this in the 80’s-10’s: [VIDEO] [LINK]
